Payment Links
Accept payments or sell subscriptions without building additional standalone websites or applications using Payment Links. You can share these links multiple times on social media, in emails, or on your website.
Create a payment link
Use the Frame Dashboard to create a payment link that you can share with your customers. When customers open this link, Frame redirects them to a Frame-hosted payment page.
Get started
Payment Links currently support Products or Subscriptions models, which are ideal for e-commerce or SaaS businesses selling products at fixed prices.
To create a product or subscription payment link:
- In the Dashboard, open the Payment Links page and click New link.
- Select an existing product.
- Click Create link.
Important Note:
You can only select either one-time or recurring products, not both. If the first selected product is one-time, all subsequent options will be one-time products, and vice versa.
Share a payment link
After creating a payment link, share it with your customers to accept payments without a digital storefront.
Share your link
To share your payment link:
- Go to the Payment Links page in the Dashboard.
- Click the copy icon next to an existing link, or go to the payment link's details page.
- Share the copied link online through Emails, Text messages, or Social media platforms.
Disable a link
To disable a payment link:
- Go to the desired payment link's details page in the Dashboard.
- Click Disable.
Once disabled, customers can no longer make purchases using that link. You can re-enable the payment link at any time. You can also use the API to disable a payment link.
Customize payment link
You can customize payment links to collect additional information from customers during checkout.
Collect shipping addresses
To collect shipping addresses from your customers:
- Create a payment link.
- Select Collect customers' shipping address in the form section.
Collect a phone number
If you need to collect phone numbers to complete the transaction:
- Create a payment link.
- Select Require customers to provide a phone number.
Only collect phone numbers if necessary for the transaction. When this option is selected, the payment page will display a required field for the customer's phone number.
